Eric and I have done so much since our honeymoon in Hawaii. We can't believe that April is almost over and we have one month before we celebrate our first wedding anniversary! Here's what we've been up to so far!
We've been ice skating with our good friend Dave. We went almost every weekend up until they closed on February 28th. I had a pair from about 10 years ago that were still in great shape (and fit)!
We regret not taking advantage of Steinberg for all of these years. We could literally walk there if we wanted to! Thanks Dave for coming over and then eating at Pi with us!
My brother turned 15 this year. Yes, this means he will be learning how to drive. It's scary I still remember when he was born and I can't believe how time has flown by. My little brother isn't so little, especially when he's taller than me.
My good friend Sarah had a baby in February and I went to the hospital to visit. Sophie was such a good baby and I'm glad that everyone was healthy and happy. Here I am practicing for when Eric and I are ready for our own!
Eric and I also decided to use our wedding gifts to good use. We've been experimenting with our new tools to make either waffles, pancakes, and below Oreo Truffles! These are so delicious and we make different versions by buying different kinds of Oreo's. Just this weekend we made peanut butter Oreo truffles! We should go into business!
One of the faculty member is having a baby so the ladies in the college decided to throw her a baby shower. I have always wanted to make a diaper cake and was able to do so with Eric's help. It's really simple to make, but it ended up costing a little more than I was expected. It was worth it in the end since she told me that it was one of her favorite gifts (even her cat liked it)!
Well, that's a quick update for now. My next post will be about the out of town bachelorette party I went to. I had such a good time I think it deserves it's own post!
