Audi-K's

For a long time, I've been passing by Audi-K's and noticed that it was going to be a hot dog and sno cone kind of joint. It finally opened last week! Eric and I wanted to try it out over the weekend but either the timing wasn't right or it was way too late to have a hot dog.

So today, my coworker Jenny and I went there after work to try it out. I got the St. Louis dog which had bbq sauce, onions and pickles. Jenny got the Killer hot dog and the Chicago hot dog. I liked my hot dog and so did she (she only ate half of each and gave the rest to her husband).

The New Orlean's sno cone was good too. Jenny asked how it was different and the lady stated that the ice is shaved finer than the ones at Carnivals and that the machine is from New Orlean's.

I'll have to take pictures next time Eric and I go. However, it's a cute place to go if you want a snack at a reasonable price. My hot dog and small sno cone was around $5.50.

P.S. Poor international students..as we were leaving one girl pointed out that the word "sno" was missing the "w." :0)

Here's the Post Dispatch link of this new joint.

Is it shaved ice? I used to work at "Paradise Sno Cones" at Village Square back in the day...
