14 Weeks!

A quick entry before leaving work for the day! This past weekend I went to David's Bridal with my mom to get a bustle on my dress. Who knew just that would cost me over $100! Whew they don't calculate that into the cost of the dress!

I have lost about 8 pounds overall since I got engaged. I know that isn't a whole lot, but I figured it was enough. When I went in for my fitting, the back of my skin didn't look right. I think if I lose about 10 pounds I'll be okay. With 14 weeks I'm sure I can do it. I've been secretly training for a 5K and have been running a minimum of 2 miles each time I run and I hate running. However, with the right shoes, tunes and now a running partner it doesn't seem so bad!

This past weekend Eric and I picked out our cake. It's a square cake with four tiers. I won't give out too much other details about it except that we got a great deal on it! My mother went with us and haggled the price down by over $200.00. We think the cake is delicious and hope that you will think so too.

Tonight Eric and I meet with our officiant, John. I'm quite nervous because I'm not sure what to expect. I hope that it will go well and he won't tell us that we're not meant to be married because I think it's kind of late to tell us that right now. I would think after 8 years of dating we got it figured out! :) We better!!!
