We're Engaged!

Saturday night Eric and I were at my apartment getting ready to go to the Central West End Art Fair and Taste. Eric had spent most of the day working on his computer and it was getting late for eating dinner. I was anxious to go (and also distracted that the neighbor next to me had their blinds up and I could see all the clothes everywhere). Anyways, I walked into my room to look out my window (to see if the other blinds were up...hey I'm curious!) and Eric says from behind that he has something that he needs to get off his chest.

I turn around and then he gets on one knee and asks me to marry him! It was short, sweet, and perfect. I was totally surprised and can't remember exactly what I said but I think it was something like "umm..okay." He slipped the ring on and that was it! We're getting married!

Sunday we spent the day telling family and very close friends. We have not set the date yet and Eric said that he wants to wait a week (at least) to enjoy this happy occasion before making any wedding plans. I'm happy to obliged as I have heard that planning a wedding isn't easy.

We're thankful for all the wonderful family and friends that have supported our relationship and love over the past 8 years! We look forward to celebrating our marriage with you.
