Well for the past 17 weeks our office decided to do the Office Biggest Loser. Every Tuesday we would come in and weigh in. Most weeks Rich and I did well, however, Erin did very well in the beginning but was never able to rebound.
Rich had been winning almost every week and overall he was winning by pounds and percentage. In fact, he was not willing to do this weight loss by percentage and was beating me. However, two weeks ago when he found out that I was only .3% behind him he caved in and told me he would buy me lunch if I were to beat him.
Today was the final weigh in. I lost 8.6 pounds. Rich lost 12.2 pounds. By percentage, he had lost a total of 6.45% and I lost a total of 6.729%. I couldn't believe when I saw the numbers. I won!
Now, Rich has been winning for a number of weeks even telling the students in the pre-health club and in his classes that he was winning and was doing so great. He did, but I guess all that bragging got into his head and only got me more motivated to beat him.
I'm all smiles today and many students gave me a high-five for winning. Even a couple of people in the office pulled me aside and thanked for winning so that we didn't have to hear Rich brag about the competition. Rich is truly hurt and is so surprised that through facebook and google status that I am able to brag about my win. He even admitted when he saw he lost 2.4 pounds in two weeks, he was confident he won.
So it was great for me to come out a winner. I really can't stop smiling and can't wait for the next round to begin in January 2009!

Busy, Busy, Busy!
Well, Eric and I have practically have been working, cleaning, sleeping, and running errands. We have found very little time to spend with one another. Strange how Eric moves in and we're both running around.
Going to school while working full-time has been a huge struggle. Right now all wedding planning is on hiatus because I have so much school work to do. I really even shouldn't be blogging on here. However, after talking to one of my bridesmaids I found out that there's a couple things I do need to attend do right away. Like.. pick out colors and get an engagement picture for our save the date cards. Plus I need to go with another bridesmaid to pick out dresses.
My mom has been a great help too, which surprises me a little bit. She has helped me find a band and photographer. She also got someone to help with the cake. Everything seems like it's falling into place, I just need to make the calls.
Eric and I have had a great rhythm. I had no worries of him moving in and it's been wonderful especially when I've come home from work and school. It's nice to wake up to and find him next to me. I can't wait to do it as husband and wife!
The first semester of classes are kicking my butt. I've got to be better with managing my time. I preach it in my U101 class, I guess it's time to follow it! Wish me luck!
